Fixture and equipment purchasing, delivery, setting, startup, controls, commissioning, and connections should be assigned in the project documents and approved scope.

Commercial water-heater planning and installation may be included when the equipment, capacity, utilities, venting, drainage, controls, recirculation, access, and responsibility boundaries are defined.
Does NexGen include excavation and backfill?
Excavation, backfill, compaction, dewatering, rock removal, and site restoration are included only when specifically listed in the written scope.
Who provides sleeves and penetrations?
Sleeve, penetration, core-drilling, structural-opening, firestopping, flashing, and restoration responsibilities should be assigned in the project documents or approved proposal.
Does NexGen provide plumbing insulation?
Insulation is included only when specifically listed in writing. The specifications and scope divisions should identify the responsible trade.
Who handles permits and inspections?
Permit, fee, inspection, reinspection, third-party testing, and authority-coordination responsibilities should be identified before work begins.
How are substitutions handled?
Substitutions should be reviewed for connection size, capacity, utilities, venting, drainage, controls, supports, access, material, labor, testing, and schedule impact before approval.
What happens when field conditions conflict with the plans?
The condition should be documented and communicated through the approved project process. NexGen should identify the affected scope and obtain authorization before completing additional work.
Can commercial work be phased by floor or area?
Yes. Underground, floors, wings, tenant areas, equipment rooms, rough-in phases, final connections, and turnover areas may be scheduled separately when access, documents, inspections, and responsibility boundaries support the phasing.
Does NexGen provide bonds?
Bonding is included only when specifically requested, priced, approved, and included in the written proposal or contract.
Does NexGen provide closeout documents?
NexGen provides only the closeout documents specifically required and included in the approved scope. Record drawings, warranties, operation information, training, spare materials, and testing records should be assigned clearly.
Should I call or submit the project online?
