Can NexGen move a toilet during a bathroom remodel?
A toilet may be relocated when drainage, venting, structural conditions, access, clearances, and the approved project scope support the change. The visible distance does not determine the full plumbing effort.
What information is needed for a new vanity?
Provide the cabinet dimensions, sink type, faucet model, countertop thickness, backsplash information, drawer layout, final wall location, and finished floor elevation.
Can NexGen convert a tub to a shower?
Yes, when the available drainage, venting, water piping, structure, access, shower dimensions, waterproofing plan, and approved scope support the conversion.
Does NexGen install curbless shower plumbing?
NexGen can plan approved plumbing locations for a curbless shower when the drain, floor structure, elevation, waterproofing system, and project responsibilities have been defined. Tile, structural, and waterproofing work remain separate unless specifically included.
Can body sprays or multiple shower heads be added?
They may be included when the selected products, valve system, water supply, pressure, hot-water capacity, access, and approved layout support the installation.
Who determines the final shower-valve height?
The owner, designer, remodeler, or general contractor should approve the finished control and outlet locations. NexGen installs the approved plumbing based on confirmed dimensions and product requirements.
Does finished tile thickness affect the valve installation?
Yes. Valve depth, trim fit, wall-mounted outlets, tub fillers, and other concealed components can depend on the final wall assembly thickness.
Can plumbing begin before fixtures are selected?
Preliminary planning may begin, but final rough-in work should not rely on assumptions when product dimensions or connection requirements may differ.
Does NexGen perform shower waterproofing?
Waterproofing is not included unless specifically listed in the written approved scope. The selected waterproofing system should be coordinated with the plumbing and drain installation.
What happens if framing blocks the proposed plumbing route?
NexGen should document the conflict and coordinate available options with the authorized project contact. Structural modifications are not included unless separately approved and completed by the responsible party.
Can old piping be replaced while the bathroom is open?
Accessible aging or damaged piping may create a practical repiping opportunity. Any additional replacement should be documented, priced, and approved separately.
Does bathroom remodel plumbing require more than one visit?
Most projects involve separate planning, rough-in, testing, inspection when applicable, and final connection stages.
